It allows a user to amend, append, edit or create content dynamically and simply and removes the requirement for either a dedicated, skilled agency or internal technical staff for regular site updates.

Copy Management

These are general content management system modules that may be used for about us, company history, personnel information etcetera. Most of this web site has been produced with this module. As a user, you can manage page publishing, page orders, titles, body text, links, files and images. Additional functions enable you to preview results, publish excerpts, make a page live or leave it as pending. A WYSIWYG text editor features basic word processing functions and have the facility to paste accurately from Microsoft Word, formatted text or plain text formats. It supports table data, text anchors, in line linking and images and multiple text styles in a format drop down.

Asset Management

This tool allows you to categorise images, logos, press releases, fonts, contracts and any other user assignable file types. It can sit behind a password protected area of your web site and also supports multiple user registrations to allow third parties access to brand collateral and documentation. The Tool is very scalable and extremely intuitive and doesn't suffer from file size restrictions. It is recommended that a busy asset management system be housed on a dedicated server to allow for heavy use without interference from general web traffic.

News Centre

This tool shares much in common with the copy management tool, but features intelligent archiving and some additional tagging functionality. It also features a comprehensive search tool and can be linked to a registration and notifications database, which in turn can connect to v-mail, our intelligent emailer. We view this tool more as one might view a blog, though its implementation and consequently some of its functions do differ.

Case Studies / Portfolios

This tool also shares much in common with the copy management tool, but is designed specifically to show portfolios and case studies. It allows categorisation of articles by type, and supports multiple font styles to highlight testimonials. This tool also supports more and larger images to enable you to show your work in greater detail. An extended version of the case studies module is available which enables you to include photo galleries as part of the presentation

Catalogues

This extended group of linked modules provides total control over product categorisation and sub categorisation. It includes both file and image handlers and where required can also include a rudimentary, stand alone stock control feature for use in e-commerce systems. The catalogue framework forms the basis of the punkyfish e-commerce site and is currently being rolled out over a number of other web sites.

FAQ & Help File Systems

This is a simple but extremely useful module that is a breeze to use and maintain. Add FAQs chronologically or alphabetically and provide answers that are automatically published to your web site as a series of anchored questions. Perfect for consumer sites, advice sites and e-commerce.
